Today at Physio, I had some awesome progress!!!! I'm so psyched about it! Last week, I failed almost all the balance tests, when i had to balance on my prosthesis leg. And I could barely do 10 squats (that was Tues), so on Wednes, saw the prosthetist and finally got the height and dorsi-flexion/angle of my ankle fixed! (FINALLY!!! -- this is on the second leg he's had to make, the first one was way off). So, all week long, I've been pushing myself. I weaned myself off my one crutch, and try to walk about a mile each day. I really want to build up my endurance again. I've been doing stairs more often, but still have trouble on the ones here at my Uncle's house. They're a little too high and steep for me. So, anyways, been trying to help with cleaning around the house too. I played catch and tried basketball last week too. I'm doing all my indoor exercises and stretching out my leg everyday too! SO, today was the big day. In physio, I....(drum roll)....passed all my balance exercises!!!! YEAH! I did squats on the Total Gym they have there. I did 'sidewalking' with a tension band. And.....(Big cymbal bang here, folks!).....I went on the dreaded Treadmill!!!! And (gasp of disbelief), I didn't fly off!!! I walked for a bit, and then she wanted me to leg go of the bar, which was really hard at first, but I got better as we went along. It was really exciting. She was so happy with my progress, and now, I'm really working hard on getting my aunts and uncles to let me try to drive a car!!!
Alright, will write more later. (Am planning to email all of my friends today/tomorrow). I'm off to help with dinner and cleaning the house!

Ah. It's Marri here. I've been catching up with the Song that is Rachel. Good to here that you're doing better. Best wishes with the job hunt. Are you interested in moving to NYC? If so, I can keep my ears open for opportunities. It's expensive up here but it's pretty cool. Are you still singing? I see you're writing and still have a very positive attitude. You always were strong that way. Well, I hope you keep that and be patient. I'm rooting for only good things for your future. Silver platter and all.
